Meet Paul

Paul Armstrong brings four decades of residential construction experience to Allied Exteriors. Rather than specializing in only one component of a house, Paul’s career has been spent learning the residential home from the ground up. His experience encompasses home building and remodeling, residential additions, carpentry, design/build work, cabinetry, custom woodworking and furniture, windows, doors, and other components of residential construction.

That background gives him a whole-home perspective when evaluating remodeling questions. A window, door, wall, or exterior product isn't an isolated component—it is part of a larger structure, and understanding how those pieces interact matters when deciding how a project should be approached.

Paul’s primary areas of expertise include residential remodeling, carpentry, design/build construction, additions, custom cabinetry and woodworking, and residential building systems.

His professional background and credentials include Master Builder, Master Remodeler, Master Carpenter, and certified master door/window installer-trainer experience, along with industry credentials such as GMB, CGR, LRRP, NAHB, and NSDJA. He also has experience or training associated with ProVia and Trus Joist/MacMillan.

With 40 years of experience, Paul contributes a perspective shaped by seeing how residential construction methods, products, and remodeling practices work in actual homes.

He is particularly well suited to educational content where homeowners need to understand how a remodeling decision affects the larger home rather than simply comparing individual products.
