Looking for Allied Siding & Windows? Welcome to Allied Exteriors. Our name has changed, but the service you’ve trusted since 1988 hasn’t.
Allied Exteriors has served Texas homeowners since 1988. Over the years, we’ve earned recognition from manufacturers, business organizations, and industry groups.
These credentials can help you evaluate a contractor, but they don’t all mean the same thing. This page explains what we’ve earned, when we earned it, and why it may matter when you’re choosing who to trust with your home.
Awards can tell you something about a company’s history. Current credentials can tell you something about the standards or programs a company participates in today.
We periodically review the credentials listed below so homeowners can distinguish current qualifications from recognition Allied received in previous years.
Allied Exteriors is an Elite-tier contractor in the James Hardie™ ALLIANCE, the highest tier in James Hardie’s current contractor program. ALLIANCE members have access to James Hardie training, technical guidance, installation resources, and support designed to strengthen their knowledge of Hardie® products and installation practices.
Allied has also received James Hardie President’s Club recognition in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2024, and 2025.
Why this may matter to a homeowner:
Proper installation plays an important role in the performance of fiber cement siding. Elite status gives you another indication that your contractor has an established relationship with James Hardie and access to its training and technical resources. You should still compare the actual scope of work, installation details, warranties, and contractor experience before making your decision.
Allied Siding & Windows, now Allied Exteriors, is listed by the Better Business Bureau as an Accredited Business with an A+ rating. The company's Tomball headquarters profile lists its original BBB accreditation date as May 9, 1988.
Allied has also received multiple BBB awards over the years, including 3 Pinnacle Awards and 8 Winner of Distinction Awards.
BBB accreditation does not mean BBB endorses a contractor or guarantees the quality of a future project. It means the business participates in BBB's accreditation program and has committed to BBB's Standards for Trust.
Why this may matter to a homeowner:
It gives you another independent source where you can review company history, accreditation status, complaints, and customer feedback rather than relying solely on what Allied says about itself.
Homes built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Certain renovation work that disturbs painted surfaces is subject to EPA lead-safe renovation requirements.
Allied Exteriors is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm for renovation work. The EPA database lists the certification under Allied Custom Homes, Inc., at Allied’s Tomball address.
EPA Certification Number: NAT-F152176-3
Discipline: Renovation
Certification Expiration: September 18, 2030
Why this may matter to a homeowner:
If your home was built before 1978, exterior remodeling work may disturb painted surfaces that contain lead. Working with an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm means the contractor is certified for renovation work subject to the EPA’s lead-safe requirements.
A company that has been operating since 1988 naturally accumulates recognition over time. Older awards don't tell you what your specific project will be like today, but they can provide useful context about a company's history.
The recognition is presented by year so you can see when it was earned rather than mistaking a historical award for a current certification.

An award generally recognizes an accomplishment during a particular period.
A certification, accreditation, or manufacturer designation may indicate participation in an ongoing program with specific standards or requirements.
The exact meaning depends on the organization issuing it, which is why it is worth checking whether a credential is current, what is required to earn it, and whether you can verify it independently.
Not necessarily.
Awards can help establish history or credibility, but they don’t replace a detailed proposal, appropriate products, proper installation practices, transparent pricing, clear warranties, and recent customer feedback.
The right contractor should be able to explain what they plan to do, why they recommend it, what it will cost, and what happens if something doesn’t go according to plan.
Awards may help you build a shortlist. They shouldn't make the decision for you.
If you're researching a window, siding, roofing, door or gutter project, we'll explain the products, installation scope, pricing and tradeoffs so you can decide what makes sense for your home.
